Art Direction and UX Design • Summer 2014–Winter 2015
I originally joined MullenLowe as an art direction intern, but later transitioned to a UX design role in the digital production department. During my seven-month long stint with the agency, I made digital assets for clients such as Highmark, Lonza, and GT Advanced Technologies.
Allegheny Health Network – #TellCancer
Allegheny Health Network (AHN) teamed up with MullenLowe to generate awareness about their new partnership with the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center through community participation at in-person events and online. We wanted to give people whose lives had been affected by cancer the opportunity to share an empowering message against the disease. My objective was to transform the existing #TellCancer platform into a friendly and welcoming space where visitors could share personal anecdotes of hope and encouragement.
Grist House Brewing
On occasion, Mullen sponsored “Passion Projects,” pro bono initiatives as a way to give back to the community. Mullen approached Grist House Brewing, an up-and-coming craft brewery, and conversations revealed that they were in need of a new website. I was tasked with revamping the brewery’s online presence and strove to create an experience that put Grist House’s passion for beer front and center.
